[Language & input] Settings

Change the displayed language and used language.

KEYBOARDS & INPUT METHODS
Language	Select the language for display and use.
Spell checker	If ticked, spell check will be performed. Look up contact names If ticked, spell check will be performed using the contact list also.
Personal dictionary	Frequently used specialized terminology, greetings, abbreviations and so on can be registered as words in the dictionary. Tap [Personal dictionary] and then tap the [ADD] button in the top right of the displayed screen to add words. PHRASE Enter words to be registered. Shortcut Enter shortcuts for frequently used words.
Default	Select the keyboard type to be used as default.
(Individual keyboard settings)	Tap the button to display the detailed settings screen of each keyboard.
Voice
SPEECH	Set the Google voice search function. Language Set the language entered for Google voice searches. Speech output Select from [Always], [Informative only] and [Hands-free only]. Block offensive words If this is ticked, inappropriate language will be blocked. Download offline speech recognition Download data to use voice recognition offline. Bluetooth headset If this is ticked, voice can be recorded on a Bluetooth headset.
Text-to-speech output	Set Google text-to-speech engine and voice speed.
MOUSE/TRACKPAD
Pointer speed	Adjusts the speed of the point when the mouse or trackpad is used. Dragging to the right will increase speed, while dragging to the left will decrease speed.
