[About tablet]Checking if the Android OS is the Latest
It is possible to check this device’s Android OS version and update to the latest version.
1Tap the [Settings] icon from the app screen or the quick settings tile.
2Tap [About Tablet].

3Tap [System updates].
Check whether or not the latest system version is being used.
If an updated version is available, the screen to start updating will be displayed. Follow the instructions on the screen to perform update.
Precautions regarding updates
Once an update is performed, it will not be possible to return to the previous Android version.
To update Android, there must be at least 50% remaining battery and an AC adaptor must be used. If this device turns off during an update, there is a risk that it will not boot up again.
- Updating will not cause the data in internal storage (this device’s memory) to be erased.
- To perform an update, internal storage must have sufficient available capacity to download the update files.
- Some applications may not be supported by the Android version being updated to and will no longer work.
- Confirm with the application distributor which Android version supports which applications prior to updating.
