Viewing Websites

Google Chrome is preinstalled in this device as the Web browser.

1Tap the [Chrome] icon on the apps screen.

2Enter a search word or URL into the address bar.

Details Menu

Tap in the top right of the screen to display the details menu.

New tab	Opens a new tab.
New secret tab	Opens a new tab in secret mode. Pages opened in secret mode will not appear in browser or search history.
Bookmark	Displays a bookmark.
Other devices	Display tabs open on Chrome on devices logged in to the same Google account. To use this feature, [Basics] - [(Account name)] - [Sync] - [Open tabs] in the Chrome [Settings] menu must be [ON].
Page search…	A search is performed within the page that is opened.
View PC-version sites	Displays the PC-version of the webpage being viewed if the mobile and PC versions differ.
Settings	Display the settings menu. For detailed information, please press in the top right of the screen and refer to Chrome Help. Basic settings Account name Synchronizes the Chrome of other devices logged in to the same Google account. Synchronization Select the item to be synchronized. Chrome to Mobile If ticked, the webpages being viewed on a PC can be sent to this device. Automatic login If ticked, you will be automatically logged in to the Google site. Search engine Set the search engine to use for searches. Google is selected as the default. Automatic form input It is possible to perform settings so that any forms displayed on a webpage are automatically inputted. Saving of passwords Manage the saved passwords. Detailed settings Privacy Set privacy settings such as whether to show search candidates and Do Not Track (DNT) usage. User support Set text zoom or enable forced zoom. Contents settings Contents settings Managing bandwidth Webpage preload If on, the device will preload pages it predicts the user will access next based on the page they are currently viewing. The display speed can be increased, however data usage will also increase. Select from the options of [Always], [Only on Wi-Fi] and [Never]. Developer tools Settings for developers.
